I started my go-go dancing the day after my 18th birthday and fell in love with it! I got to travel all over the country working at almost every single gay bar and larger gay event throughout the United States. That help build my love for people and community.

I went to school originally for Baking & Pastry Arts along with Business Administration. I left with a degree in those along with: Marketing, Organizational Leadership, and Management along with getting my Real Estate License in Arizona.

During my years go-go dancing, I fell in love with Traveling and started going abroad. I have now been to over 15 countries and I started to fall in love with the differences in fashion and clothing design found everywhere. I decided to teach myself how to sew to build outfits for myself for red carpet events and other larger events.

Founding Helio was what really made my goals a reality
For most of my adult life I had a goal to hit $1M before I turned 26. I opened three businesses in my past but none successful enough to get me to my goals. I eventually stumbled upon a gap in the Gay Underwear and Swimwear market… true inclusivity. This is what I used to build the foundation of Helio Menswear my bread and butter. I've put in over $200k into this business self funded so I know this is what will help me hit my goals. I work 12-15 hour days 7 days a week to keep Helio running and I wouldn't have it any other way.
